SaaS positioning
Am I selling the right thing?
Your homepage says one thing. Your customers, in their reviews and support emails, say what actually made them buy and stay. The gap between the two is where positioning experiments come from. ProofCopy reads both and puts the biggest mismatch at the top of the report, with counts.
- 1Add your website URL. We read the public page and list its claims, benefits and target customer.
- 2Paste or upload customer feedback: reviews, NPS comments, onboarding survey answers, support threads.
- 3Get the biggest messaging mismatch, underused customer language, website claims at risk, and the experiment to run.
Why 'what customers say' beats 'what we think'
Positioning workshops produce statements the team likes. Customers produce statements that made them pay. When 43 customers describe not having to configure anything and the homepage leads with AI automation, that is not a copy problem, it is a positioning hypothesis worth a test. ProofCopy makes that hypothesis explicit and attaches the evidence.
It also lists the website messages no customer supports and the ones customers actively contradict, so you know which claims are at risk before a prospect notices.
What you get
Biggest messaging mismatch with supporting and counter counts. Strongest purchase drivers. Underused customer language. Website claims at risk. A recommended messaging experiment with the current message and the alternative to test. With a Deep Analysis, a verified hero section and ad angles built from the same evidence.
Honest limits
The comparison reads one public page and the feedback you supply. It cannot see your funnel metrics, and a small or one-sided sample gives a low-confidence result, which the report says out loud. It is a way to choose the next test, not a substitute for running it.
Questions
- Do I need a lot of feedback?
- Ten to thirty messages give a usable Quick Scan. Positioning findings get much stronger with a few hundred, which Deep Analysis handles.
- Is my website stored?
- The page is fetched once for the analysis. It is kept only inside a report you choose to save.
- Which URL should I use?
- The page a new prospect lands on: usually the homepage or the main product page.
