Terms, privacy and refunds

What ProofCopy does

You paste customer feedback. We send it, with your optional settings, to a third-party language model provider and return marketing insight and copy that cites the messages it came from. Output is generated text: review it before publishing, and you are responsible for the claims you make.

Accounts

A Quick Scan needs no account. To buy a plan, keep reports or use them on another device you sign in with your email address; we send a one-time link and store no password. Your email is used to sign you in and for billing receipts, nothing else.

Plans and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. Sprint and the Day Pass are one-time payments with a fixed access window that starts when the payment completes and does not renew. Pro and Agency are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly until you cancel from your account; cancelling keeps access until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown in USD and exclude applicable taxes; VAT or sales tax is calculated at checkout from your location and shown before you pay. Access is tied to your account and checked on our servers for every request.

Refunds

If a plan didn't work for a technical reason on our side, email tomplaes@gmail.com within 7 days and we'll refund it. Because plans give immediate access to the service, we don't refund periods that were used successfully. A refunded or disputed payment ends the corresponding access.

Privacy

The feedback you paste or upload is processed on our servers to produce your report and sent to our model provider (DeepSeek or Anthropic, depending on configuration) under their terms; it is not used to train models. Storage depends on what you do: an anonymous Quick Scan and its source messages are deleted automatically after 24 hours; analyses run while signed in are kept for 30 days unless you save them; saved reports (including the source messages you supplied) stay until you delete them from Reports. Deleting an analysis deletes its stored source messages and any share link. Share links are private by default: you create them, choose whether source messages are included, and can revoke them at any time. Our product metrics and funnel analytics record counts, timings, token usage, plan type and campaign parameters, never your text. Server logs record request references, stage names, counts and error codes for abuse prevention and debugging; they never contain the text you pasted. We set a signed anonymous visitor cookie for rate limiting and free-quota counting, and session cookies when you sign in. If you use the website comparison, we fetch the public page you name once; it is kept only inside a report you save. Don't paste data you aren't allowed to share. Fair use

Passes are for one person. Rate limits apply to keep the service fast for everyone. We may refuse or limit use that looks automated or abusive.

Liability

ProofCopy is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, ProofCopy isn't liable for indirect losses arising from generated copy or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for your current pass.
